Lavender Bouquets & Upcoming Events
In just over a week, we will be kicking off our 2020 Lavender Season! Throughout the month of June and July we are offering several ways to get fresh lavender bouquets from the farm, as well as opportunities to enjoy the lavender fields (while following social distancing guidelines).
Lavender Bouquet Subscriptions
Have a fresh lavender bouquet delivered to your house on a regular basis throughout the months of June and July. We are accepting orders for weekly and bi-weekly lavender bouquet subscriptions through Sunday, May 31!
Lavender Bouquet Delivery
This summer Menkveld Farm is offering no-contact bouquet deliveries in Williamson County. Deliveries are available Monday - Saturday throughout the month of June. If we find there is a good amount of interest in our no-contact deliveries, we will continue this into July and August and also offer sunflower and mixed flower bouquets for delivery as well! At check-out, select ‘No-Contact Delivery’ under Shipping.
uPick Lavender Bouquets on the Farm
Menkveld Farm is hosting several uPick events on the farm, where the public can harvest their own lavender bouquets, walk the lavender fields, take photos, and enjoy a picnic lunch. In June we will be offering uPick on Saturday, June 6 and 20 from 10AM - 1PM. You can pre-order uPick bouquets through our website.
Farm Stand
Throughout the month of June, we will have a farm stand set up with fresh lavender bouquets and a variety of other lavender products and flower bouquets. We will have hand sanitizer available at the stand for visitors to use before and after selecting their items.
Thompson’s Station Farmer’s Market
This summer, Menkveld Farm will be participating in the Thompson’s Station Farmers Market at Sarah Benson Park. We will be set up the second Thursday of each month and have fresh lavender available in June and July, along with sunflower bouquets, mixed flower bouquets, and dried lavender bunches the rest of the summer. We are currently accepting pre-orders for our first market. Items available for pre-order can be found here.
Private Photo Sessions in the Lavender Field
Private photo sessions can also be scheduled in the lavender field. Reservations can be made for June 1 -21 on our website.
