Outdoor Event Venue
Last year, we opened up Menkveld Farm for hosting small private events for up to 50 attendees, and makes a beautiful and unique for a variety of event types including bridal and baby shower’s, children’s birthday party, or a wedding! Throughout the summer, lavender and sunflowers are in bloom, and make spectacular backdrops for your event and capturing photos onsite. When our lavender and cut flower gardens are in bloom, we can set up a flower bar for guests to arrange bouquets during their onsite event, or we can provide customized flower arrangements for guests to take home with them at the conclusion of the day.
Additionally, during the summer and early fall, we are making the farm available for private lavender picking or uPick bouquet parties. Throughout the summer we offer several farm-hosted events that are open to the public to harvest flowers directly from the field for their own flower bouquets, as well as enjoy time relaxing outside with family and friends while on the farm. This year, we are also making private uPick events available for those who want to reserve the farm for a more intimate flower picking experience with friends and family! It’s a way to spend girl’s night out or get together with some families where the kids have lots of room to run around and play. Plus everyone goes home with farm fresh flowers to enjoy!
If you are interested in hosting an event onsite, we strive to make working with us as simple and straightforward as possible! We prepare a personalized informational package that details the different planning considerations for your event type to help ensure the planning process goes as smoothly as possible and nothing is overlooked. We also have a list of recommended vendors to help make any event come to life. Additionally, since we are a small business, one of the perks we can offer those who work with us is flexibility! While we have our standard event offerings and product listings, we are able to tailor our offerings to align more closely with your individual needs and goals. We hope that our flexibility enables everyone who we work with to see their visions become reality and enjoy a wonderful time on the farm with their guest!
